2007 Congress and Expo of Manufactured and Modular Housing
MHT was a sponsor and had a booth at the 2007 Congress and Expo of Manufactured and Modular Housing in Las Vegas from April 10th-12th, 2007. The Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) put on a very well organized event, bringing together over 1500 industry leaders to network and share industry news. New MHI President
Gail Cardwell has joined the Manufactured Housing Institute as the new president and CEO and was introduced to membership during the 2007 National Congress and Expo in April. Cardwell has an extensive background in public policy and association management and we look forward to her leadership in moving our industry forward. MHI Task Force
The MHI Board of Directors has recently created several task forces to tackle some of the major issues facing the industry at this time. The key tasks include: - Industry Image

- HUD Code Regulatory Reform
- Home Placement

MMHA Mixer
We would like to thank the Michigan Manufactured Housing Association (MMHA) for organizing a mixer on April 18, 2007 at Cafe Cortina in Farmington Hills, MI. This mixer was a great chance to meet with other members of the association, get updated on industry news, and enjoy great food in a beautiful venue. Congratulations to Brian Fannon who was awarded for 30 years of service to the Michigan Manufactured Housing Commission, he will be resigning after this term expires. Tim Dewitt was also awarded for 30 years of service to MMHA as Executive Director. We look forward to future events with the MMHA.
