increase your sales on mht with these tips:

take advantage of down time: use this time to your advantage by reviewing your listings on manufacturedhomestoday.com® (mht).

  • list all homes you have available for sale, in all price ranges. the minimum listing amount available is 50 homes; use it to promote your homes!
  • take photos of all your models onsite and put them on the website as listings as well.

make use of all advertising space: if you are selling new homes, take advantage of those 50 listings with models that are available from the manufacturer you work with.

  • you can use floor plans, manufacturer art or model home shots that the manufacturer had provided.
  • put up several versions of the same model with different prices for available options. important: run a disclaimer in the description to inform buyers that the home is for presentation purposes only but that similar homes can be ordered.

check out the listings you have up:

  • are they described attractively?
  • are all amenities listed?
  • do you have 6 photos up for each home listing?
  • are the photos attractive and appealing?

this is a great time to go in and update photos that may not be the most appealing. set an appointment with the seller so they can have the home in tip-top shape and then take some really good photos to show off the home to its full advantage. they will appreciate your extra service. see the photo tips in the client access area of manufacturedhomestoday.com® for ideas on getting the best photos.

q: how do passwords work?

a: all advertisers must have a password to get into the client access area. passwords must be composed of 6 letters and/or numbers, no symbols may be used. if you would like to change or request a password please send an email to: passwordrequest and we will respond within two business days.

q: is there a way to pay my bill online?

a: at this time, you can only pay through mail by check and over the phone with your credit card. within the next few months, the option to pay online will be added. starting with the january billing cycle, the option to add a recurring payment to a credit card will be available.

there are many features on the mht website that are useful aids to homebuyers.

if you have a client who is not completely certain what type of home they are looking for, show them the home buyer's work sheet. the client can refer to this sheet to prioritize needs as they search for homes. you can also print out copies of these sheets and keep them in the sales office to aid walk-in clients.

another useful feature is the faq's link. this page gives helpful information about land, communities and manufactured homes, and is written to cater to newcomers.
